Huya, for example, also has a <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////esportsadvocate.net//2024//09//huya-reduces-league-of-legends-esports-license-fees///">license agreement with TJ Sports<\/a> to broadcast LPL League of Legends matches.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5db92af07\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>This marks the first time Rednote has entered a partnership in the esports scene in China. Initially unknown by a large majority of the Western audience, the community app took the spotlight last month when the US government announced it had plans to ban ByteDance&#8217;s apps in the country. On top of ByteDance&#8217;s flagship app TikTok, the <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////esportsinsider.com//2025//01//mobile-legends-bang-bang-us-ban-lifted/">planned ban also included Mobile Legends: Bang Bang<\/a> given that developer MOONTON is a ByteDance subsidiary.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5db92b673\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>While the ban was lifted shortly after, <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////www.scmp.com//news//china//diplomacy//article//3294639//self-styled-tiktok-refugees-find-new-chinese-app-sending-it-no-1-us/" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rednote rose to the top of the app download charts across several countries in January.<\/a> With over 300m monthly active users and over 70% of the user base composed of females, Rednote is a social networking and e-commerce platform that focuses on user-generated lifestyle content.
