People will be made as whole as possible with what funds are available. This\u2019ll be managed outside my influence.\u201d<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09558a\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Founded in 2021, UK esports organisation Into The Breach competed in games such as Counter-Strike 2, Halo, Rainbow Six: Siege and Dota2. Among ITB\u2019s biggest competitive achievements was its qualification to the BLAST.tv Paris Major in 2023.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a095cfc\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Last year, the company secured a naming rights deal with online crypto casino <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////esportsinsider.com//2024//06//into-the-breach-shuffle-gaming/" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Shuffle.com<\/a>, and was rebranded into ITB.Shuffle Esports.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a0964b7\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>As a consequence of yesterday\u2019s news, ITB was removed from the <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////x.com//TheUKETC//status//1883919348785635429/" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UK Esports Team Committee<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a096c43\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Cook further referred to alcoholism and self-destructive habits as the reasons for the mismanagement of ITB funds: \u201cUnfortunately, I, the CEO, was acting as two people \u2013 one trying to match their efforts and another, a destructive, alcoholic narcissist hellbent on self-immolation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a0973db\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Since Cook\u2019s and ITB\u2019s statements, numerous individuals involved with the organisation and the overall esports community have spoken about the situation on social media.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a097b63\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p><strong>ITB\u2019s Chief Operating Officer (COO), <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////x.com//S_VEB_L/" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sebastian Lubczyk<\/a>,<\/strong> highlighted the lost future potential of the company: \u201cI wanted to write a statement, but I have no words. Three years of work is gone. What hurts the most is that at this rate of growth, revenue, etc. We could have been one of the top organizations in 2-3 years. We were not aware of the financial issues ITB had with its other teams. Had we been, we would have found another organisation&#8230;\u201d<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09938e\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Into The Breached had only announced its re-entry into Dota 2 following a four-year absence <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////www.itb-esports.com//news//back-to-dota-2/" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in January 2025<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a099b11\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Outside of its Dota roster, several <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////x.com//CreedzR6//status//1883914761844457589?t=AWcoOPO77HDinpXEVpF5PQ&amp;s=08\%22 target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">individuals<\/a> involved with ITB\u2019s other teams have accused the company and its CEO of being owed prize money and payments.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09a292\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>\u201cOwed 9500 USD from events + multiple missed salaries\u201d, said professional Halo player, <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////x.com//WutumSG//status//1883928714049904682?t=Dq0e4D_ruIhPZM1efZ1V9w&amp;s=08\%22 target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Eljas \u2018WuTum\u2019 Veirto<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09aa02\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Cook was also <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////x.com//winteriio//status//1883913904243491297/" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">accused<\/a> of mismanaging the funds earned through the Legends Sticker Capsule during ITB\u2019s Paris Major 2023 run. In response, the former CEO released a <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////x.com//SlayTheMinotaur//status//1883919847865594002/" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">second statement<\/a>, claiming that he had paid the players appropriately.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09b186\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>However, <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////x.com//rallenHulk//status//1883928453214527525/" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Karol \u2018rallen\u2019 Rodowicz<\/a>, as well as <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////x.com//ThomasCS__//status//1883918522327392764?t=LD05xLu0R1Wz_VOckZ4hsA&amp;s=08\%22 target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Thomas \u2018Thomas\u2019 Utting<\/a> from the 2023 roster, publically disputed Cook\u2019s claims.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09b92e\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>\u201cStop, you owe me salaries from almost half of the year and sticker money, you know what did you sign, everyone knows how much we made money for you and how were you delaying all payments&#8230;,\u201d replied Rodowicz  to Cook\u2019s X post.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09c203\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Blaine \u2018Blainey\u2019 Uknighted, who had worked for ITB as an Esports Team Manager, <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////x.com//BlaineUknighted//status//1883917136080589014?t=_ayJUgZAIC4t9v4VrM91bg&amp;s=08\%22 target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">commented<\/a> in support of those who are yet to be paid: \u201cI will do my best to work with the appropriate stakeholders to push for everything owed to be paid out, although their is no guarantees this will be possible. To the fans of ITB Rainbow Six: Siege and ITB Halo. I am sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09ca0c\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>As esports has been shaken by several <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////esportsinsider.com//2024//10//bleed-esports-removed-from-vct-pacific-boom-esports-promoted/" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mismanagement scandals<\/a> in the recent past, some voices within the field expressed disappointment and frustration in light of the ITB news.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09d190\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>\u201cAnother case of prize money not getting to the players that earned it. The company ran grassroots tournaments and community events and became first known for its activities in the VALORANT scene.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09e999\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>TGH was <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////esportsinsider.com//2023//10//itb-goose-house-part-acquisition/" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">partially acquired<\/a> by ITB in October 2023, becoming a co-owner of THG alongside existing co-owners David \u2018dave\u2019 Taylor and \u2018d\u00cbk\u2019.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09f113\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>ITB took various steps to <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////esportsinsider.com//2024//10//itb-shuffle-the-goose-house-restructure/" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">restructure and streamline TGH<\/a> after the acquisition, however, following the announcement Taylor and Dek revealed the end of all of TGH\u2019s operations yesterday.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09f883\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>In the <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////x.com//TheGooseHouse//status//1883952110318006620/">post<\/a> on TGH\u2019s X account, the co-owners explained that the TGH Discord server would remain active as other aspects of the organisation had strayed from its initial course.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf66a09fff4\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>\u201cWhat was meant to be a fun place to hang out and play games soon became a second job for many of us, ultimately draining the joy from its original purpose. [&#8230;] We turned a blind eye when it became clear we were being taken advantage of from every possible angle imaginable.
