For the 2025 season, multinational esports organisation <strong>Gen.G<\/strong> has become the third partner team for the EMEA region.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5ed4ab4ac\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Joining the three partner teams are <strong>The Ultimates<\/strong>, <strong>Sakura Esports<\/strong>, <strong>Team Peps<\/strong>, <strong>Al Qadsiah<\/strong>, and <strong>Team Vision<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5ed4abc39\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The five teams competed in the OWCS Stage 1 open qualifiers and earned their place by finishing the competition in the top five places.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-heading-67cf5ed4ac3e3\" class=\"esi-heading \">\n  \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-owcs-stage-1-2025-north-america-teams\"><span id=\"owcs_stage_1_2025_north_america_teams\">OWCS Stage 1 2025 North America teams<\/span><\/h2>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5ed4acb5d\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p><strong>Team Liquid<\/strong> is set to make its debut in the OWCS this year thanks to its participation in the partner programme. The last time the organisation competed in Overwatch esports was in 2017.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5ed4ad30f\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The upcoming season will also be <strong>Spacestation Gaming&#8217;s<\/strong> debut in the North American region after spending 2024 competing in EMEA. The team achieved victory in Stage 2 and Stage 4 of last year&#8217;s competition.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5ed4adb21\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Joining the region for the upcoming season are <strong>Timeless<\/strong>, <strong>Avidity<\/strong>, <strong>Rad Esports<\/strong>, <strong>NTMR<\/strong>, <strong>Shikigami<\/strong>, and <strong>Amplify<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5ed4ae2cb\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The teams placed in the top six during the North American qualifiers to secure their place in the regular season.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-heading-67cf5ed4aea71\" class=\"esi-heading \">\n  \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-owcs-stage-1-2025-format\"><span id=\"owcs_stage_1_2025_format\">OWCS Stage 1 2025 Format<\/span><\/h2>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5ed4af1e4\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The regular season of the OWCS in 2025 involves a round-robin format with all matches being first to three. <\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5ed4af949\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The top six teams from the regular season advance to the regional playoffs where a double-elimination bracket is formed. <\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5ed4b01fa\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>All matches apart from the Grand Finals use the first to three format while the Grand Finals will see the first team to reach four claiming victory. <\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5ed4b124b\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The OWCS Stage 1 2025 playoffs take place from March 1st to 9th, 2025. <\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf5ed4b19c5\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The top two playoff teams qualify for the Champions Clash while the top six all secure places in Stage 2.
