The goal of the competition is to\u00a0bring more engagement to Formula 1, especially during the winter break for the F1 squads.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf63e16a7fd\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The 2025 edition marks the eighth season of the programme and it will take place on F1 24, developed by Codemasters and published by EA Sports.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf63e16af77\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>Last year, the 2023\/24 Driver Championship went to Frederik Rasmussen of\u00a0Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing, who beat Kick F1 Sim Racing Team driver, Thomas Ronhaar, in the last round. Scuderia Ferrari Esports\u00a0emerged as the World Constructors&#8217; Champions.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-heading-67cf63e16b722\" class=\"esi-heading \">\n  \n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-schedule\"><span id=\"the_schedule\">The Schedule<\/span><\/h2>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf63e16bea8\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The first event will kick off on January 14th, as the drivers will be racing 29 laps in Melbourne&#8217;s Albert Park Street Circuit, followed by three other races in the following two days. <\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf63e16c631\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The remaining eight races will be split into two separate events, the first one taking place from February 12th to February 14th, and the second from March 25th to March 27th.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf63e16cda6\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The races will be broadcast live via the official&nbsp;F1 YouTube,&nbsp;Twitch, and&nbsp;Facebook&nbsp;channels, as well as the dedicated F1 Esports social media channels.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf63e16d513\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The F1 esports scene has undergone a major rise and fall over the few past years. The COVID-19 lockdown allowed the game title to thrive, reaching over 400,000 peak viewers at the\u00a0<a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////escharts.com//tournaments//f1//f1-esports-virtual-grand-prix/">F1 Esports Virtual Grand Prix Series Vietnam<\/a> back in 2020.<\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf63e16dc8c\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>That being said, the competition wasn&#8217;t able to maintain the same level of engagement in the following years, with the <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////esportsinsider.com//2024//08//the-rise-fall-and-future-of-f1-esports/">2023\u201324 Formula One Sim Racing World Championship left in a state of uncertainty<\/a> following delays caused by a change of organisers and <a href=https://esportsinsider.com/"https:////esportsinsider.com//2023//12//f1-esports-cancels-second-lan-event/">last-minute race cancellations<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n<div id=\"esi-paragraph-67cf63e16e3fe\" class=\"esi-paragraph \">\n    \n<p>The revamped\u00a0F1 Sim Racing World Championship made the return in April 2024.
