In 2024, China officially joined the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) with its own dedicated league. At the end of 2023, VALORANT developer Riot Games announced the 10 partner teams<\/a> that would compete in the inaugural VCT China season alongside promoted team Dragon Ranger Gaming.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Despite China being the last of the fourth major international leagues \u2014 joining the\u00a0Americas<\/a>,\u00a0EMEA<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Pacific<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 the region has already made an impact on the international stage by claiming the VALORANT Champions 2024 trophy. <\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n

Most of the partner organisations are well-known to Western viewers due to their connections within League of Legends, Counter-Strike and other games, however, some are relatively unknown outside of China.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n\n\n
